With an increase in domestic violence, the added workload on mothers balancing childcare whilst working from home, and the front-line care workforce being predominantly female during the pandemic, we’ll be discussing some of the ways in which women have been affected by COVID-19. We’ll also be examining the other side of the COVID-19 gender gap that has led to a higher death rate among men with very little insight into why. How can we alleviate the differing pressures on men and women during this pandemic?
We will be hosting a small breakfast meeting to discuss this topic in depth and provide an opportunity for members to meet other young leaders.
