To celebrate the launch of the Future Leaders Network in Wales, we will be hosting a high level roundtable, titled 'How can young leaders change the climate conversation?'. You will hear five young leaders presenting their views on how young people can take leadership positions in combatting climate change. You will then have the fantastic opportunity to discuss this further in the Senedd, with the event sponsored by Deputy Minister Jane Hutt AM.

From organising school strikes, to starting their own sustainable businesses, to researching what works in climate change communications and ending plastics in period products, we have a range of young people to listen to. Supported by artists showcasing their work and with audience participation, this is the opportunity to meet with the future leaders of Welsh and UK politics and build your own professional network. It will be the first of many events for young leaders in Wales. 

Panel of young climate leaders include:

• Beth Irving - Representative for Cardiff youth strikes for climate

• Ella Daish - UK Campaigner for ending period plastics and period poverty

• Flavie Ioos - Cardiff University Environment and Ethics Rep

• ‪Muna - A-level student studying Government & Politics Law and Sociology; passionate about current affairs affecting our world today from climate change to foreign policy. ‬

• Sarah Becker - PhD researcher exploring how perceptions and interactions with climate change affect propensity to act
